Tue, Aug 28: Paris, France

We took a boat ride on the Seine river, seeing sights this time from the river. 

Then we took a taxi to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica (Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris).  After walking through the Basilica, we ate in an area just behind it that had several restaurants and shops (lunch on top of a hill J).

Then we took a taxi to the middle of Île Saint-Louis island, for the best ice cream in Paris, Berthillon House ice cream.  After that we walked back to our hotel across the Seine River. 

Paul and Mary later walked to Angelina's to buy several bags of the best hot chocolate in Paris, or perhaps anywhere – well worth the 2 hour walk.
